DUO- India fellowship 2020 awards to Dr. Mahesh Kumar, Dr. Satyajit Sahu and Dr. Shobhana Singh
DUO-India Fellowship Programme aims at promoting the exchange of faculty members between India and European countries. DUO-India fellowship aims to provide mobility between Indian and European institutes by funding 50 professor-pairs for the exchange of one month during 2020. The faculty members from Indian institutes can participate in this program with 14 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and UK) for the research exchange through this program
 
Three faculty members from the Institute are awarded the DUO-India fellowship for the year 2020.
Dr Mahesh Kumar

Dr. Mahesh Kumar will participate in the exchange program with Technische Universität (TU) Darmstadt, Germany in the area of developing novel materials for the application in the domain of Solar Energy. Dr. Michael Saliba, from TU Darmstadt will be hosted at IIT Jodhpur to involve in teaching and research activities as a part of this scheme.
Dr Satyajit Sahu

Department of Physics
Dr. Satyajit Sahu will participate in the exchange program with The University of Manchester, UK in the area of organic and quantum dot-based memory devices. Dr. L A Majewski from The University of Manchester will be hosted at IIT Jodhpur to involve in teaching and research activities as a part of this scheme.
Dr Shobhana Singh

Department of Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Shobhana Singh will participate in the exchange program with Aalborg University, Denmark in the area of Thermal Energy Storage for Improving Energy Conservation. Dr. Jacob Hærvig from Aalborg University will be hosted at IIT Jodhpur to involve in teaching and research activities as a part of this scheme.
