Dr. Abhishek Sharma received his PhD in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2019. Before joining IIT Jodhpur as an assistant professor, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at City University of Hong Kong, HKSAR, China, and Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, United States. He was also associated with the Advanced Electronics Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Maryland, as an international research associate from Nov. 2023 to Nov. 2024.

Dr. Sharma received the URSI-InRaSS Young Indian Radio Scientist Award in 2019 at URSI Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference held in New Delhi. He has authored/co-authored over 50 journal and conference papers. He is currently serving as an associate editor for Electronics Letters and an active reviewer for numerous journals, including IEEE, Optica, and IOP. Dr. Sharma is a senior member of URSI and a member of IEEE, Optica, and APS.
