Akshay Moudgil

Dr. Akshay Moudgil is an Assistant Professor at IIT Jodhpur, where he develops next-generation electronic sensor systems for various applications. His research focuses on sensors, hybrid transistors, printed and wearable electronics, point-of-care bioelectronic devices, and optoelectronics, focusing on building Next-Gen field-deployable intelligent sensor technologies.

He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, where he received the prestigious Visvesvaraya PhD Fellowship from the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Government of India. Before joining IIT Jodhpur, he was a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, where he developed wearable biosensors using advanced fabrication facilities and collaborated with institutions including the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, and A*STAR Singapore.

Dr. Moudgil has authored over 35 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, and IEEE Electron Device Letters. He has contributed a book chapter, holds a patent on biosensor technologies, and has been recognized with Research Excellence and Travel Awards from IIT Delhi and CSIR.
