Shahab Ahmad
Associate ProfessorAbout
Dr. Shahab Ahmad is a faculty member at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur working in the area of advanced energy materials and optoelectronic systems. His research focuses on hybrid perovskite materials, semiconductor nanostructures, and next-generation energy storage devices such as photo-rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. His work aims to integrate energy harvesting and storage in a single device platform, enabling efficient solar-to-electrical energy conversion and storage technologies.
His research group explores
hybrid heterojunction materials, perovskite-based optoelectronic systems, and
nanostructured electrodes for lithium-ion and lithium-sulfur batteries. The
group also develops advanced materials for photodetectors and opto-electronic
devices. His research integrates concepts from materials science,
nanotechnology, electrochemistry, and device engineering to develop efficient
and stable energy systems.
