About

Prof. Bharat Singh Rajpurohit is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. His research focuses on power electronics applications in modern power systems, renewable energy integration, electric drives, and emerging electricity networks. His work addresses challenges related to grid integration of renewable energy sources, power quality improvement, and advanced power electronic converter technologies for sustainable energy systems.

He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His doctoral research focused on reactive power capability and performance analysis of grid-connected doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) systems for wind energy applications. Prof. Rajpurohit has authored numerous research publications in reputed international journals and conferences and has contributed to books and book chapters in the area of power electronics and electric drives. His research and academic activities also include conducting workshops, short-term courses, and collaborative research projects related to power electronics and renewable energy systems.
