Dr. Kedar Dicholkar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, IIT Jodhpur. He holds an Integrated Master of Design–PhD in Design from IIT Kanpur, where his research focused on interaction-based interventions in Indian Classical Music through visualization, systems thinking, and performance-based exploration. Dr. Dicholkar’s academic and research interests span UX research, interaction design, embodied cognition, design methodology, and the use of emerging media to support performance-based and cultural practices. Prior to joining IIT Jodhpur, he was associated with the Symbiosis Institute of Design, where he contributed to teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring for BDes and MDes students. Alongside his ongoing research and creative practice of art and Indian Classical Music, Dr. Kedar has been awarded scholarship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT).
