Chandana N is an Assistant Professor in the Centre for Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Development at the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur. She holds a Ph.D. in environmental engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, where she was awarded the prestigious Pairmala Rao award for the best Ph.D. thesis in CTARA, IIT Bombay in 2022 for her doctoral research, titled "Tackling Onsite-Sanitation Challenges in India: Faecal Sludge Management". Chandana also possesses a master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. With a total of 10 years of experience in environmental issues and the Information Technology field, her main areas of work include the design and modeling of water and sanitation systems, technical verification of designs for wastewater treatment plants, third-party technical audits, air pollution analysis, and evaluation of various developmental projects implemented by the government.
