Dr. Chandan Pandey completed his M.Tech. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the IIT Roorkee Roorkee in 2012. He began his academic career as a faculty member at HCST, Farah, Mathura, where he served for approximately one year. He has completed Ph.D. in the area of welding from IIT Roorkee in 2018. Following his Ph.D., Dr. Pandey joined SRM University as a faculty member in July 2018. Shortly thereafter, he joined to the IIT Jodhpur in April 2018, where he currently holds the position of Associate Professor. During his academic tenure, Dr. Pandey contributed to research activities at IIT Jodhpur, broadening his expertise in welding, weld testing, materials characterization, and residual stress analysis. Over the past six years, Dr. Pandey has successfully supervised 06 PhDs and over 12 M.Tech. theses. His contributions to the field have been recognized through several prestigious honors, including the INAE Young Associateship (2024) and the Institution of Engineers (India) Young Engineers Award (2023–24).
