Assistant ProfessorAbout
I am an Early-Career
Researcher and an Assistant Professor at the School of Liberal Arts, Indian
Institute of Technology Jodhpur. My work sits at the intersection of higher
education policy, digital technologies, and pedagogy, with a focus on how
technological transformations are reshaping teaching-learning, and higher
education systems. I have contributed to multiple research and consultancy
projects in this area, and my work has appeared in reputed journals as well as
policy-oriented publications.
I previously
held a postdoctoral position at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, in
collaboration with Imperial College London, and completed my PhD at Indian
Institute of Technology Jammu. Alongside my academic work, I have served as a
policy consultant with the Commonwealth of Learning.
My research has
been supported by several competitive grants, including the BAICE Travel Grant,
the National University of Singapore Internship Grant, and the SEAMEO-RIHED
Grant. Prior to pursuing my doctoral studies, I completed dual master's degrees
in Education and Physics and have received numerous accolades, including a gold
medal and position, during my academic journey.
If I am not in
my office, I am likely exploring unfamiliar landscapes or enjoying quiet
moments in nature-and perhaps attempting to learn cooking, inspired by the
flavours of my hometown, Jammu.
