Dr. Sandeep Kumar Yadav is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an M.Tech. in Nuclear Engineering and Technology from IIT Kanpur, and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from H.B.T.I. Kanpur. His research interests include signal processing, condition monitoring, blind signal demodulation, image processing, artificial neural networks, and machine learning. He has led several funded research projects in collaboration with agencies such as DRDO, IBM, UNICEF, DST, and MHRD. Dr. Yadav has received numerous accolades, including the Young Scientist Award (System Society of India, 2011), the Graphical System Design Achievement Award (National Instruments, 2012), the IBM Shared University Research Award (2014), and the Teaching Excellence Award from IIT Jodhpur (2020). He regularly teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Intelligent Instrumentation, Machine Learning, Adaptive Signal Processing, and Circuit Theory. He is actively involved in mentoring Ph.D. and M.Tech. students in emerging areas of intelligent systems and signal analysis.
