About

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Dammala is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. His research focuses on soil dynamics, soil–structure interaction, pile foundations, seismic requalification studies, aeolian sand dune dynamics, and sustainable geotechnical solutions.

He leads the Soil and Advanced Foundation Analysis for Resilient Infrastructure (SAFARI) Lab, which aims to enhance the resilience of infrastructure against natural and human-induced hazards by studying soil behavior and developing stable foundation systems. The research group works on advanced geotechnical modeling, seismic response of soil systems, and resilient foundation design for critical infrastructure.

His research group has received several recognitions including fellowships and grants from organizations such as DST-DAAD, SERB, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, and the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.
