About

Deepak Fulwani received the Ph.D. degree in control systems from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 2009. He was an assistant professor at IIT Guwahati, Guwahati, India, and served as a visiting faculty at IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India. He is currently a professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Jodhpur, Jodhpur, India. He has authored or coauthored several articles in reputed international journals and conferences. His current research interests are power electronics, microgrids, and control systems. Prof. Fulwani was a guest associate editor for a special issue on structured DC microgrids for the IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics in 2017. He was an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications from 2019 to 2022. He is currently an Editorial Board Member of Nature Scientific Reports and Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics since June 2024. He was the recipient of the Excellence Award for his Ph.D. thesis work in the IDP program in Systems and Control in the 48th Convocation of IIT Bombay. He was also awreded Teaching Excellence Award (for class size 30 to 60) by IIT Jodhpur in 2020
