Capacity Building Program on 25 September 2024
Prof. Pradip K. Tewari, the distinguished JJM Professor Chair at IIT Jodhpur, emphasizing water sustainability's importance. A total of 256 participants registered for the program, representing various States and Union Territories across India. Prof. Arindam Malakar, University of Nebraska–Lincoln Nebraska Water Centre, USA gave a talk on ‘A way to protect groundwater quality: Understanding reactive nitrogen transformation in the vadose zone’. Prof. Farhat Naz, Associate Professor School of Liberal Arts (SOLA) talked about ‘Community Engagement for Water Security and Water Sustainability’.
