Booking for External Sample
Online Equipment Booking and Sample Analysis Guidelines
The Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, offers access to its advanced research instrumentation facilities for external users through a structured ERP online booking and payment system. To ensure efficient operation, transparency, and timely analysis, all users are requested to carefully follow the guidelines outlined below.
1. Equipment Booking Process
- All bookings for equipment usage must be made exclusively through the ERP Online Equipment Booking Portal: https://erponline.iitj.ac.in/exapp/auth/signup.htm?module_id=4
- No offline or email-based booking requests will be entertained.
- Slots will be confirmed only after successful payment and approval through the ERP system.
2. Payment Guidelines
- Payments must be made only through the ERP portal.
- Direct transfers to any bank account, DDs, cheques, or cash payments are not accepted.
- Only electronic payments initiated via the ERP system will be considered valid.
- After successful payment and receipt of samples, slots will be allotted for analysis.
3. Sample Submission Policy
- The Department receives a large number of samples from across India; hence, prior coordination is essential.
- Do not dispatch samples without prior discussion with the respective lab in-charge.
- Samples received without prior intimation or confirmation will be processed only when slots are available.

5. Data Delivery
Analytical results and data will be shared on ERP portal within 7 days after the completion of sample analysis.
6. GST Claim Requirements
For users who wish to claim GST, please ensure the
following details are accurately entered at the time of online payment through
the ERP portal:
1. Registered Firm/Institution Name
2. GST Number
3. Complete Address (with Pin Code and State)
7. Refund Policy
In case of excess payment, no monetary refund will be processed. Instead, additional sample analyses will be carried out to adjust the excess amount.
