The Office of Alumni Relations at IIT Jodhpur serves as the central platform for nurturing meaningful and enduring connections between the institute and its alumni community worldwide. With a vision to build a strong, engaged, and supportive alumni network, the office plays a vital role in advancing the institute’s mission and vision by fostering networking, collaboration, and fundraising initiatives.
Key Roles and Objectives:
Engagement & Networking: Strengthening lifelong relationships by organizing alumni meets, chapter launches, reunions, and professional networking opportunities.
Outreach & Communication: Maintaining continuous dialogue with alumni through digital platforms, newsletters, and social media channels.
Fundraising: Promoting a culture of giving back by designing and managing fundraising campaigns, endowment drives, and targeted initiatives to support students, research, and infrastructure.
Student–Alumni Connect: Facilitating mentorship, internships, and career guidance opportunities, enabling students to benefit from alumni expertise and professional networks. Primarily, these activities are coordinated through the Society of Alumni Affairs (SAA) & Alumni Chapters.
Institutional Advancement: Aligning alumni contributions with the strategic development goals of the institute, thereby enhancing IIT Jodhpur’s global presence and reputation.
