Title of Talk: Topographical singularities of fold and flip bifurcation curves.
Abstract: In this presentation, bifurcations, particularly the fold and flip bifurcation of the discrete systems, will be discussed. For the one-dimensional map, the notion of contour lines is used to describes the dynamics. Further, we will discuss the concept of the reduced multiplier, different configurations of the bifurcation curves, and topographic singularities with the help of examples.
