Abstract: Linear Complementary Dual (LCD) codes are an important class of linear error-correcting codes which have trivial intersection with their dual code. These codes have gained significant attention due to their applications in reliable communication and cryptography. In this talk, the fundamental properties of LCD codes, their construction methods, and practical applications will be discussed.

About the Speaker: Dr. Shikha Yadav is an Assistant Professor at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. She earned her M.Sc. in Mathematics from Miranda House (University of Delhi). She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Indian I.I.T. Patna. Her research focuses on algebraic coding theory, with a particular emphasis on linear complementary dual (LCD) codes.
