Maker Bhavan MoU +

IIT Jodhpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Anand Rathi Financial Services Limited and Maker Bhavan Foundation on 17th July 2025, to establish 'Anand Rathi Tinkerers' Lab. The MoU was signed by Shri Krishnav Gupta, Associate Director, Anand Rathi Financial Services Limited, and Prof. Ankita Sharma, Dean of Student Affairs, IIT Jodhpur & Ms. Damayanti Bhattacharya, CEO, Maker Bhavan Foundation, in the august presence of Prof. Avinash Kumar Agarwal, Director, IIT Jodhpur. The project aims to set up a state-of-the-art Tinkering Lab at IIT Jodhpur to foster an innovation culture and problem-solving among students.

🎓 Endowed Genpact Chair Professorship +

IIT Jodhpur is proud to announce the creation of the endowment for establishment of the Endowed Genpact Chair Professorship in the field of Computer Science, Data Science, and AI.

💼 Endowment Support: ₹80 Lakhs for the Chair Professorship
🎓 Doctoral Fellowships: ₹20 Lakhs to support three PhD students (with preference to women candidates) over four years
🧠 Focus Area: Cutting-edge research and education in AI, Data Science, and related domains

🪑 iHub Drishti Chanakya Chair Professorship +

In a major boost to frontier research at IIT Jodhpur, iHub Drishti Foundation has endowed the Institute with ₹1.66 Crores to establish two prestigious Chair Professorships.

🧠 Focus Areas: Computer Vision, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR)
💼 Endowment Support: ₹1.66 Crores for two Chair Professorships
🔍 Objective: To advance research, teaching, and innovation in immersive and intelligent visual technologies

🌿 IVAAN Foundation - Clean Energy Endowments +

IVAAN Foundation under its initiative of empowering individuals and fostering innovation has endowed the Institute with ₹1.75 Crores.

• Endowed Goliya Chair Professorship in Clean Energy
• Endowed Johari Young Faculty Fellowship
🔍 Objective: Focus on driving impactful education, cutting-edge research, and societal contributions in the domain of Clean Energy at the Rishabh Center for Research and Innovation at IIT Jodhpur.

🏆 CII Industry-Academia Partnership Awards 2024 +

IIT Jodhpur was proudly recognized with the "Grand Jury" Award in the Government Institute category at the 1st edition of the CII Industry-Academia Partnership Awards 2024.

This prestigious accolade acknowledges the Institute's consistent efforts in building long-term, high-impact collaborations with industry. The award underscores IIT Jodhpur's leadership in driving innovation, translational research, and knowledge exchange.

The Office of Corporate Relations also set up a dynamic exhibition stall during the CII Annual Summit on Technology, Intellectual Property and Industry Academia Partnership 2024 on 12 December 2024.

IIT Jodhpur has been on boarded as the Academic Partner for the “The India CSR & Sustainability Conclave” organised by Brands Global Media, scheduled on 2nd August 2025 at the India International Centre, New Delhi. Dr. Kirti Sankhala, Assistant Professor, CETSD, will be a Panel Speaker on the topic “Vision 2047: Building a Net- Zero, Inclusive, and Resilient India” and Dr. Chandana N, Assistant Professor, CETSD, shall participate as an Expert in the sustainability project/case study segment in the conclave.

The India CSR & Sustainability Conclave is a flagship national platform that convenes over 150+ stakeholders from across the CSR, ESG, sustainability, social enterprise, and innovation ecosystem. The IITJ–AIIMSJ MedTech Centre hosted the 3rd edition of ICMI 2025 from 15th to 17th February 2025.

👩‍💻 STEM for HER Scholarship Program +

Twelve female students from IIT Jodhpur have been selected for the prestigious STEM for HER Scholarship Program, a CSR initiative by Genpact in collaboration with United Way Hyderabad.

Program Benefits:
• Scholarships worth ₹40,000 per student, renewable across all years of study
• Structured mentorship from industry professionals throughout the academic year

This initiative empowers young women in technology by providing financial support and professional guidance. Students were selected through a rigorous evaluation process, emerging as top achievers from across the country.

🎓 Udaan Scholarship +

Three students from IIT Jodhpur have been selected as recipients of the prestigious Udaan Scholarship, supported by TransUnion CIBIL and facilitated through FORSTU.
