About me

I am an Assistant Professor (Grade II) in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Jodhpur. I received my Ph.D. from IIT Bombay in 2024. Prior to joining IIT Jodhpur, I was an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Bombay, and then a Research Associate at IIT Hyderabad.

My current research interest lies in extremal graph theory and combinatorics. In graph theory, I have worked on list colorings of graphs, particularly on the behavior of the gap between the choice number and chromatic number for graphs embeddable on a fixed surface. In extremal set theory, I have worked on a fractional variant of set systems with restricted intersection sizes. This work also led me to try to compute the ranks of a large class of dense matrices which are conjectured to have "high" rank.

I am also interested in entropy methods in combinatorics, as well as Brualdi–Hoffman-type problems in spectral graph theory.
